During this project I got to know the different weaving patterns and learnt how to create them on the loom. The project was one of three main projects during my semester abroad at ENSCI in Paris. This project started with creating a mood board as well as a colour range as an orientation for the woven collection. While designing and weaving the collection, an emphasis was put on the possible application of the textile – an important question to be asked when choosing the yarn material for warp and weft.
